The weather did not cooperate for this family, so they chose to do an indoor session instead. This beautiful mama is expecting baby #2 soon, and big brother is very excited! I got to photograph this handsome little guy as a newborn, and now again at 6 months. I absolutely love being able to see my clients and their families grow and change through the years! This age is always a fun time to photograph because the personality of the child really begins to develop. James was blowing bubbles, smiling, and cooing the whole time… There was only one short bit where he got fussy, but mom was there to save the day with a bottle. Overall, this was an amazing shoot. This little lady was quite difficult to keep asleep, and she was definitely having some vivid dreams. But, we did manage to get some very sweet images both asleep and awake. Charlotte & Ramon shared their wonderful wedding day with many family and friends, and I was very honored to have been a part of this wonderful occasion. The ceremony was held at St. Paul’s church in Janesville WI and the reception was at the Central Coast in Fort Atkinson WI. According to the weather forecast, it should have rained, but we got lucky and the weather was wonderful all day. If you have never been to Central Coast for an event, I highly recommend it! It offers a nice open concept dance and dining area with wonderful lighting and decorations, and I mustn’t forget to mention the delicious food they offer as well. Read More »
For this engagement session, I was able to join Terri and Don at a little farm near Evansville WI. This location is a sentimental one for the couple, so I was more than happy to photograph in such a special place. The weather was gorgeous and there were quite a few little spots to photograph. I loved the fact that everything in this shoot is personal, from the pick up truck, to the tractor, to the barn, and Terri’s motorcycle. Nicole and Chad were married at the Afton Gravel Pits in Janesville WI… It may not sound like much, but let me tell you, this location is amazing! It sits on 3 acres of land, so it has a beautiful landscape, a lake, and a log mansion on its grounds.
